Cardi B exploded from New York's streets into rap's front ranks with a flow that feels like a live wire and lyrics that never ask permission. Since 2016 she has rewritten the rules for female MCs, turning mixtape momentum into a cultural force that makes every drop feel like an event. MARCA named her among the hottest women at No. 8 and the hottest musicians at No. 6, confirming the heat that follows her from the booth to the red carpet.

NPR captured her stripping arena anthems down to their bones at a Tiny Desk Concert, while The New York Times traced how she channels music, business ventures and political voice into a single, unfiltered expression. Forbes noted she was blocked from a new No. 1 by the biggest hit of 2026, then highlighted her tying Beyoncé, Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj with another chart summit, and later marked her extending a flawless album-chart run. MARCA celebrated her birthday by spotlighting the looks that keep stealing glances.

Wikipedia page views reflect the relentless curiosity that surrounds her every move. The combination of chart dominance, boundary-pushing style and a microphone presence that commands rooms of any size keeps her locked in the upper tier of this list. As long as she keeps turning verses into headlines and appearances into moments, the spot isn't going anywhere.
